Sourdough French Toast

I am a lover of all things breakfast - especially french toast! I think french toast is often given a bad reputation for being covered in powdered sugar and other toppings loaded with excess calories. I had seen a lot of people posting about healthier french toast, so I whipped up this quick recipe this morning and it was INCREDIBLE!


I used a rye and sourdough bread and combined it with chia seeds, greek yogurt and fresh berries for a great mix of complex carbohydrates, protein and fiber!


Sourdough French Toast with Greek Yogurt, Chia Seeds and Fresh Strawberries

Makes 1 serving (2 slices of bread)
